We bought an old chapel that had been used as an hostel and was very neglected. We have a long way to go but thanks to Ochiltree we have a magnificent front door. We gave them clear instructions on what we wanted and they exceeded our expectations. To add to that, everyone at Ochiltree was very professional and highly skilled in what they do.

Ochiltree replaced the rotten wooden, single glazed windows in the bedrooms and attic of our period property with matching style double glazed Acoya windows and we are delighted with the results. During the quotation, Neil listened to our requirements and presented us with several good options. We were slightly worried about the fitting of the bathroom and attic windows as access was not straight forward but this wasn't an issue for the Ochiltree team who were able to complete the job without any fuss. The fitters Jonny and Andy were real grafters and were careful and considerate around the house and were happy to discuss matters as the work progressed. The windows have made such a big difference to the look and feel of the house. We had 3 external doors and 2 windows replaced by Ochiltree. Our house is an old farmhouse so the dimensions are unusual. Neil and his team did a great job. Every stage was handled professionally and with a smile. The quality of the work is exceptional. Every stage was bespoke, including matching the height of the cat flap to the old door (they are fussy). We are very happy and so are the cats!

We are delighted with our new front door from Ochiltree Joinery! It replaced a door which was rotting, draughty and leaking, and we are so pleased to have a solid, watertight door with glazing to give much more light. We bought a 1930s house which had a nice wide wooden door - with drafts blowing through it, single lock, plain single-glazed glass with no privacy. Poor security, and it was twisted in the frame. We looked for a company online to fit a new door but your typical composite door looked horrible and other companies are out there who will fit an engineered wooden door but it was always a case of "pick from these options" and for the price, you really want what YOU want. Ochitree made it simple - you can have exactly what you want. So we sketched out our idea, a little back and forth with Neil and we settled on a design. The helped match the glass on our side window perfectly, we got the exact colour we wanted and most importantly when they sketched up the initial mock-up, made some recommendations about scale so it looked in proportion. The fitters were the best I've ever had for any installation. The door is perfect and when they left, I didn't have to so much as wipe a surface down. This door is perfect and it'll outlast us.
